We are proud to announce that we have partnered with Driving for Better Business

Driving for Better Business is a free to access government-backed National Highways programme, delivered in partnership with RoadSafe, to help employers in the private and public sectors reduce work-related road risk, protecting staff who drive or ride for work, and others who they may share the road with.

Their mission is to improve the levels of compliance for all those who drive or ride for work by sharing good practice and demonstrating the significant business benefits of managing work-related road risk more effectively.

Screen4 and DFBB share a mutual goal of improving safety within workplaces, through partnering we can share our insights and experience in how managing drug and alcohol programmes effectively can significantly improve an organisations health and safety, particularly work-related road safety.

We want to provide the transport and logistics industry with the knowledge and tools to educate their workforces on the impact thatDrugs and Alcohol can have not only in the in the workplace but other areas of life.

We want to help DFBB lead the industry to a safer one, and believe that together we can do that.

Anne-Marie Penny, National Highways lead for Driving for Better Business said “we’re excited about partnering with Screen4 who have a wide experience of helping to improve impairment management in many industry sectors including aviation, maritime and petrochemical. Health and wellbeing are key parts of being fit to drive and working with Screen4 we have the opportunity to raise awareness and provide solutions for this sensitive area. The ultimate goal we share is for everyone to get home safe and well.”

Screen4 are at the forefront of workplace safety, much like DFBB and we are supporting them and their mission to make the roads a safer place for all. Employers have a duty to ensure, as far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of their employees on a corporate and personal level. Through training, awareness and support all businesses throughout the industry can move towards a healthier and safer future and together we can help the DFBB community achieve these goals.
