Amber (Fully Vaccinated) Country Day 2 Clinician Test

Day 2 tests for fully vaccinated passengers arriving from Amber listed countries will now be available from 4am Monday 19 July you will not need to quarantine on arrival in England or take a day 8 COVID-19 test, as long as you:

  • have been fully vaccinated under the UK vaccination programme
  • have not been in a red list country in the 10 days before you arrive in England

Fully vaccinated means that you have had your final dose of an approved vaccine at least 14 days before the date you arrive in England.

You will need to:

  • declare that you have been fully vaccinated on your passenger locator form
  • show proof of your vaccination status to your carrier (ferry, airline or train) when you travel

This is a clinician performed test that will be carried out by one of our friendly clinicians at the clinic of your choice. This test can be taken on day 0,1 or 2 of arriving into the UK.

Attending one of our Clinics

You can attend one of our clinics to have your test taken by a friendly professional. Please do not book or attend a clinician test if you are displaying symptoms of Covid19, please follow the UK Governments guidance which can be found here

When you arrive at the clinic on the day of your test you must bring along your passport and booking reference number. This will help the clinician locate your details.

Our friendly team will talk you through the test and carry this out for you. Our clinician will also provide you with your sample barcode number to allow you to enter this into your online results account. See our instructions guide for a step by step walk through of how to enter your sample barcode.

Your sample will then be sent to the laboratory directly from our clinic via our private courier for a speedy turnaround of results within 24-48 hours.

Getting your sample to the lab

After completing your online account creation and entering your sample barcode number your sample will be couriered directly to our laboratory from the clinic.

When your sample is checked in at our laboratory you will receive an email notification.

Results are reported within an average of 24-48 hours from receipt of your sample at the laboratory. Results are sent to your online results account and when they are ready you will receive an email to prompt you to check your account. Your results PDF document can be saved to your device or printed.
