Covid19 Pre-Travel Testing

Portugal Update:

All passengers, excluding children up to the age of 2, travelling to Portugal must show an negative RT-PCR test result for Covid19 at the time of boarding. The test must have been taken within 72 hours of departure. Your airline is likely to deny boarding if you can not provide this at check-in.

Royal Mail Update:
Recently we have experienced a high number of issues with samples not arriving at the laboratory in a timely manner due to delays with Royal Mail services. Screen4 have now opened all of our clinic locations as drop off points for your home test samples, WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DROP AT ONE OF OUR CLINICS, IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. A list of Drop box opening times and locations can be found here.

Now that overseas travel has resumed, you may find that you require a PCR test and a laboratory certificate to prove that you are Covid19 free and fit to fly.

Countries across the Globe have enforced local immigration restrictions and they recommend that people travelling need to have a PCR test carried out 48, 72-96 hours prior to travelling! Screen4 can provide you with the testing and the certification for this.

This test can be completed as a ‘Self-Test’ or a ‘Clinician Performed Test’.

Advice for testing:

You will need to check the entry requirements for the country you are travelling to, you can do this here:

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/travel-advice-novel-coronavirus

It is the consumers responsibility to ensure that you check the requirements for the country you are travelling to and to ensure that your sample is taken within the given time frame. Screen4 can not advise you of this and are not liable for any tests carried out outside of your travel requirement window.
