Workplace drug testing 'on the rise', say providers 

Workplace drug testing has increased significantly in the UK, four leading screening companies have said. They have seen rises in the number of annual tests carried out of between 40% and 470% over four years. More than 150 people in Scotland had their vehicles seized for drink driving between April 2013 and March 2014. 

The vehicles were forfeited by repeat offenders, first offenders with a high alcohol reading and some drivers who refused to give a breath sample.

Those of any value were sold at auction and others were scrapped. All proceeds went into public funds.

Lord Advocate Frank Mulholland QC said there were "tough consequences of drink and drug driving".

10 pilots found to be tipsy during pre-flight check in last six months 

Random Indian pre-flight safety checks have caught 99 tipsy pilots since 2011, the national aviation minister told Parliament on Monday.
