Ireland to consider decriminalising marijuana

Devices will test drivers’ saliva for range of drugs, says Minister Paschal Donohoe New roadside devices that can test a driver’s saliva for the presence of drugs will be introduced this year, according to Minister for Transport Paschal Donohoe. Suspected drink drivers in the West Midlands could also be tested for drug abuse during the festive season. Swansea close to top of list of worst drink and drug driving postcodes in Britain 

SWANSEA is fourth on a list of drink or drug driving hot-spots in the UK. Amazingly, Llandrindod Wells in mid-Wales comes top of the list, followed by Blackpool in second and Crewe in 3rd. Pilot of private plane escorted off the jet and arrested for 'flying while drunk' after landing at airport 

A pilot of a private plane was arrested over concerns about the amount of alcohol in his blood yesterday - just two days after another similar incident. Ian Jennings, 47, from Gosport, Hampshire, was arrested at Norwich Airport yesterday afternoon after landing a commercial chartered plane. 'Drunk' Flybe pilot arrested before flight 

A Flybe pilot was removed from a plane and arrested on suspicion of being over the drink-drive limit just before he was due to fly. The pilot was due to fly from Newquay Airport in Cornwall to London Gatwick on Wednesday morning before he was removed for a breath test.
